2. What This Service Is

Real Enneagram Test is a free, browser-based personality assessment. Here's what that means in practice:

• It costs nothing and requires no account or email address.
• Your answers are processed entirely in your browser — they never reach our servers.
• Results are for personal reflection and educational use only.
• The service is intended for people aged 13 and older.

We can modify, pause, or shut down the service at any time. We'll try to avoid disruption, but we can't make promises about uptime.

3. This Is Not Professional Advice

We want to be very clear about this. The results you get from this test are based on your own self-reported answers to a personality questionnaire. They are meant for personal insight and self-exploration — nothing more.

Your results are not a psychological assessment, a clinical diagnosis, or a substitute for professional mental health advice.

The Enneagram and attachment style frameworks are widely used tools for self-understanding, but they are not standardised clinical instruments. Please don't use your results to make decisions about medical care, therapy, employment, legal matters, or anything else with significant consequences.

If you're going through a difficult time, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional — they're the right person to help.

4. What You Can Do

You're welcome to:

• Take the test and keep your results for your own personal use.
• Share your results with friends, family, or a therapist using the built-in share feature.
• Link to the site from your own blog, social media, or website.
• Quote short excerpts from the result descriptions for personal or educational purposes, with a credit to realenneagramtest.com.

5. What You Can't Do

A few things we need to protect:

• No scraping or copying. Please don't scrape, reproduce, or redistribute the test questions, scoring logic, type descriptions, or any other content from this site without our written permission.
• No competing products. Don't use our content or methodology to build a competing service without a separate agreement with us.
• No reverse engineering. Please don't try to extract or reverse-engineer our scoring algorithm.
• No bots. Don't use automated tools to access the site or simulate test responses.
• No misrepresentation. Don't present these results as official clinical assessments or professional psychological evaluations.
• No AI training. Don't use our content to train, fine-tune, or develop AI or machine learning models without our written consent.
• Follow the law. Use the site in compliance with applicable laws and regulations wherever you are.

6. Our Content and Intellectual Property

Everything you read on this site — the questions, type descriptions, growth paths, result copy, design, and code — belongs to Real Enneagram Test or our licensors and is protected by copyright.

To be clear: the Enneagram framework itself is not ours. It draws on the published research of Riso & Hudson and the Enneagram Institute. Attachment theory comes from Bowlby, Ainsworth, and others. But our specific question set, scoring methodology, written content, and the combined Enneagram + attachment approach are our original work.

7. Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in detail in our Privacy Policy. The short version: we collect no personal information from you, and your test answers never leave your device.

8. No Warranties

The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it accurate, reliable, and available — but we can't make legal promises about any of that. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

Use the service at your own judgement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Real Enneagram Test and its operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including any decisions you make based on your results.

In no event will our total liability to you exceed USD $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these kinds of limitations, so they may not apply to you in full.

We sometimes link to external websites — academic references, research sources, or tool recommendations. Those sites are outside our control and we're not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.

11. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes that can't be resolved informally will be handled through binding arbitration or the appropriate courts.
